Making Frozen Burgers in theAir Fryer is a quick and easy way to get a delicious, juicy burger without all the hassle! This is an easy weeknight dinner that your entire family will love.

  • frozen beef patties
  • olive oil or cooking spray
  • seasoning salt
  • American cheese
  • burger fixings - burger buns, lettuce, pickles, onions, mayonnaise, catsup.

Instructions

  1. Lightly brush olive oil on both sides of the burgers. Sprinkle with seasoning salt.
  2. Place each frozen hamburger patty in the one even layer in the air fryer basket. 
  3. Set heat to 350 degrees and timer for 10 minutes. 
  4. Flip burgers at five minute mark.
  5. If you're having cheese on your hamburgers, place cheese slice on each burger at the 9 minute mark. It only needs about a minute to melt.
  6. Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

  • 4 quarter air fryer oven - this is the specific air fryer I use.

How long do you cook frozen burgers in the air fryer?

Cook frozen burgers in the air fryer for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

Do I need to flip my burgers?

Yes, you will need to flip your burgers at the halfway mark so that they cook evenly on both sides.

What internal temperature should a well-done burger be?

A well-done burger should be cooked to 160 degrees Fahrenheit.

Things to know

  • Brushing the oil on the burger seals the juices into the burger and gives you a nice and crispy crust on the outside of the burger.
  • If you don't have any American cheese, feel free to use cheddar, Swiss, or your favorite cheese.
  • You can cook as many burgers as will fit in your air fryer without having to stack them. If you are cooking for a larger crowd, you may need to cook in batches.
  • Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the burger.
  • Make sure your burgers are cooked through. you can use a meat thermometer. The internal temperature of the burger should be 160 degrees F.

Variations

  • Instead of seasoned salt, you can top your burgers with onion powder, garlic powder salt and pepper or Montreal steak seasoning.
  • If you like a little heat to your burgers season them with cajun seasoning on both sides.
  • For a Southwest twist, top your burgers with some taco seasoning.
  • If you are looking for a little sweetness, try sprinkling some brown sugar on the burgers before cooking. And, then top with cooked maple bacon.

Storage

Refrigerate - Store leftover burgers in the fridge for up to three days in an airtight container.

Freezer - You can freeze cooked burgers in a freezer bag for up to three months.

Reheat - Reheat burgers in the air fryer at 350 degrees for about 5 minutes, or until warmed through. Or you can reheat them in a small skillet on the stovetop with a tablespoon of water for 3 minutes on each side.

Ingredients

  • 4 quarter pound frozen hamburger patties
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons seasoning salt Montreal steak seasoning or salt and pepper are great substitutes.
  • 4 slices American cheese (optional)
  • Build your burger with your favorite fixings - hamburger buns, lettuce, pickles, red onion slices, mayonnaise, catsup, etc. Enjoy!

Instructions

      We had air fryer burgers a few nights ago and they were so good. We loved them. Just a fun meal. Even when you forget to take your meat out of freezer. No problem. They are great.
