Ingredients

For the exact measurements, please refer to the printable recipe card at the bottom of this post.

  • Frozen shredded hash brown potatoes - you can use shredded or cubed. You can even use diced fresh potatoes.
  • Cream of chicken soup - Cream of mushroom soup or even cheddar cheese soup can be used instead.
  • mayonnaise you can substitute with sour cream if you prefer.
  • lemon juice or lime juice and sweet pickle relish
  • Dry ranch dressing - this is the stuff in the packet.
  • shredded cheese - I used cheddar cheese in this recipe, but you vary the cheese. Try mozzarella, or swiss cheese, both would be delicious.
  • frozen fish sticks - I used Gorton's fish sticks. But you can switch this up and use breaded shrimp, crab cakes, or even chicken nuggets!
