- You can change up the seasonings to suit your tastebuds so feel free to swap out the steak seasoning for garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, and your favorite herbs.
- For a nice pop of flavor you could drizzle the sprouts with balsamic vinegar if you like a little tang.
- If you prefer sweet, remove the sprouts halfway through cooking and sprinkle with a couple tablespoons of brown sugar. Return the basket to the air fryer to finish cooking.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ’s)
No, there is no reason to blanch them. The air fryer will cook them all the way through without the blanching.
Yes, I recommend that you halve them before you cook them. This helps them cook all the way through and get good and crispy.
Many people don't realize that it's brussels sprouts. Even if you are talking about only one sprout, it is still brussels sprout. Now you know!!
Deb’s tips for the perfect dish
Make sure that you place your brussels sprouts halves in a single layer, cut side down in the air fryer basket so that they crisp up.
- I always like to give my air fryer basket a quick spray with cooking spray so that the halves do not stick to the basket and clean up is easy.
- Use a paper towel to dry off the sprouts before frying. We don't want them to steam!
- Depending on the size of your sprouts you may need to increase or decrease the cooking time. So, watch them closely while they are cooking.
How to store leftovers
Refrigerate - Cooked brussels sprouts can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. They are great as a snack right out of the fridge!
Reheat - To reheat your brussel sprouts, you can either pop them back into the air fryer at 375 F (190C) for 2-3 minutes or in the microwave for 30 seconds to one minute.
Freezer - I don't recommend freezing the leftovers so make just enough that you can enjoy in four days.
