Air Fryer Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare cauliflower - Cut cauliflower florets. Try to keep them close to the same size. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl whisk together the melted butter, hot sauce, garlic powder and salt. 
  4. Add the cauliflower to the buffalo sauce mixture and toss to combine. Sprinkle with the cornstarch and mix again. 
  5. Place cauliflower into the air fryer basket in a single layer and fry for 15 minutes, tossing once or twice halfway through, until cauliflower is golden brown.

Baking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare baking sheet by spraying with non stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. Follow steps 2-4 above.
  3. Place prepared cauliflower on baking sheet. Spread out, do not crowd. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, flipping once during baking.

Variations

  • You can also make this recipe with chicken, just replace the cauliflower with 2-3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Cut into 1" cubes. Toss with the buffalo sauce mixture and proceed with baking or air frying.
  • Instead of cornstarch you can use almond flour if you are concerned about carbs in this recipe.
  • To make this dish have more spice, add more hot sauce or add red pepper flakes to your sauce.
  • For a more mild sauce, reduce the amount of hot sauce or add more butter to your sauce.

Storage

Refrigerate - Store any leftover crispy cauliflower in an airtight container in the fridge. They will last 3-4 days. You can also freeze this dish.

Freeze - To freeze, place it in a freezer safe container or bag and freeze for up to 2 months. When ready to eat, thaw overnight in the fridge.

Reheat - In the air fryer at  350 degrees for 5-7 minutes, or in the oven at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower about 1½ lbs.
  • 3 tbsp. Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter melted
  • ½ tsp. kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
