FAQ's
There are a few different names for these wrapped hot dogs. Some people call them Crescent Roll Hot Dogs, while others call them a Mummy Dog or Pigs in a Blanket. All three names are perfectly acceptable!
Unfortunately, these hot dogs are best when they're fresh out of the oven. However, you can prepare them ahead of time and then bake them right before you're ready to serve.
These easy pigs in a blanket can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge overnight. However, they will not taste as good as if you had made them fresh.
The best way to keep pigs in a blanket warm is to place them on a baking sheet and put them in a 200-degree preheated oven. This will help to keep them warm and prevent them from getting soggy until you are ready to serve.
