Easy and delicious this gooey brie is a great way to whip a last minute appetizer recipe. The first time I brought this to a party, one of my guests laughed and said, just hand me a spoon, I'll be in the corner and don't bother me! It's that good, you'll want it all for yourself!

- Brown sugar – The secret to that caramelized topping.
- Chopped pecans – For crunch and flavor!
- Maple syrup or caramel sauce – A little drizzle goes a long way.
- Sea salt – Just a pinch to balance the sweetness.

Brown Sugar Baked Brie
Ingredients
- 8 ounce wheel brie cheese
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Slice the top rind from the top of the cheese brie.
- Place the brie wheel in a small skillet with the sliced side up.
- Top with brown sugar and bake until the brown sugar is melted and the cheese is gooey and bubbly. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- While the cheese is baking toast the chopped pecans in a dry skillet on the stovetop. Toast, for 4-5 minutes over medium heat until they become aeromatic and slightly golden. Remove from heat and pour into a seperate bowl.
- Remove the cheese from the oven and drizzle with caramel sauce. Top with chopped pecans and a pinch of salt. Serve with French bread, crackers or thinly sliced apples or pears.

Storage
