FAQ's
Pork roast should reach 145 degrees Fahrenheit to be safe to eat. And, I recommend that you check your internal temperature with an instant read meat thermometer for the most accurate results.
The only liquid that you need to use in this crock pot pork tenderloin recipe is the gravy. The rest of the liquid will come from the meat itself.
You have don't to sear the meat, I didn't. However, if you prefer the taste of seared pork, season the pork, and then sear it on all sides in a large skillet with a drizzle of olive oil.
Top Tip
Pork tenderloin and pork loin are not the same cut. Be sure you get a tenderloin. They are usually sold in a package that contains two tenderloins.
If the gravy is thinner than you would like it to be, make a cornstarch slurry. Add that to the slow cooker and allow it to thicken for a few minutes before serving.
Variations
- Want to add some additional flavor to your gravy? Add a pinch of garlic powder, salt, black pepper, or Italian seasoning. However, you can also add your favorite dried herbs.
- If you want a deeper richer flavor you can also add a splash of soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce to your gravy.
Storage
Refrigerate - Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Also, you can use the leftover pork in pork sandwiches the next day for a different meal, yum!!
Freezer - This dish freezes well! Just store it in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Make sure to thaw properly before reheating.
Reheat - Reheat leftovers on the stovetop on medium heat or single servings in the microwave. If you find that it's a little dry, try adding a little bit of liquid such as chicken broth or water to help thin the gravy.

Looks delicious, going to make today. My question is I have brown gravy on hand, have you ever tried making with brown gravy?
Debra Clark
Hey Michele - I haven't made this with brown gravy, but I would certainly give that a try. I believe it will be delicious! Enjoy the recipe!!
Carol
Mine is cooking now and the aroma is mouth watering. I did put it on for an extra hour on high because I like the potatoes and vegetables softer.
Debra Clark
Oh, how wonderful Carol - I hope you really enjoyed your meal. Thank you for sharing!!

Do you use the pkg pork gravy or the jar?
Debra Clark
You can use either jarred gravy or two packets of the dry gravy mix. If you use the dry gravy mix, prepare it as per package instructions before pouring over the meat and vegetables.
