This recipe is simple! You'll have everything together in a snap. If you're serving a veggie tray as a side dish or a fabulous dip to dunk your favorite Sticky Buffalo Chicken Wings in this dip is sooooo much better than what you can buy in a store.

And frankly, better than what you'll have in a restaurant.

Blue Cheese Dip with a platter of vegetables.
Just a few ingredients and this blue cheese dip comes together with amazing tangy, creamy deliciousness!

Why you'll love this recipe

  • Because this is made with tangy greek yogurt mixed with mayonnaise it's tasty and a little gilt free! Here's what I'm thinking - if you're serving this up with veggies then you're looking for something a little lighter, right?
  • And if you're piling on the chicken wings - well you have less to feel guilty about! I justify it in my mind, maybe you can too, LOL!
  • Ten minutes is all it takes to make your own dip. So much better than the store bought version!
Homemade blue cheese dip.
Perfect for a veggie tray and fabulous to dunk chicken wings in!

Ingredients

  • Greek yogurt
  • mayonnaise
  • blue cheese crumbles
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • garlic salt
  • salt
  • Tobasco sauce (optional)
  • green onions

Instructions

  1. Slice the green onions thinly, you'll use the green and white parts.
  2. Measure out the yogurt and mayonnaise. Add all of the remaining ingredients to a small mixing bowl.
  3. Mix together and refrigerate. The yogurt gives it a delicious (lighter) tangy bite! This can be made in advance and will keep in the refrigerator up to three days.

So much better than store bought dip, you'll want to make you own every time!

Serving suggestions

Blue Cheese Dip is also great with your favorite vegetables, chicken wings or crackers.

I've been making this dip for years! My friend Nicole has declared it the BEST BLUE CHEESE DIP EVER!!! - hey.... I'm not bragging... that is a quote! 😀 Give it a try, I know you'll love it as much as we do!!

I never was a blue cheese dressing fan until I made it from home! The flavor is amazing, not sour, which is what I always taste from bottled versions. Looking forward to giving this a try adding Worcestershire sauce. Love that addition!

Hahaha! I was going to say "BestBlue Cheede Dip Ever" again, but you already quoted me. I knew it was the best at my party when adults and kids kept going back for more. And, kids ate veggies with it. Double win! I'll make it for this weekend too!
