Before I jump in and tell you about the recipe for the Energy Bites, I have to share a funny story!
The Beef Jerky is a perfect grab-n-go. I’ve been tucking it in Dan’s lunch, it’s a great snack and I ❤️ that it’s organic also!
So anyway, I’m at the store and to pick up more tea and jerky. As I take my turn in line, the clerk asks me if I want a bag (we purchase bags in California for .10 cents each) and I said yes, and said I didn’t want to juggle everything. The lady behind me says, well she’s just being honest!
I think I looked at her with the strangest expression and she repeats – you’re just being honest! Now the clerk is looking at her too… She smiles and says you’re being honest…. Honest Tea…. get it? Oh we all got a great laugh! 🤣
I chatted with this kind stranger. We talked about the flavors we love and I got a great story to boot! I got a chuckle and wanted to share this story!

Stir in the oatmeal and shape them into little balls. It doesn’t get easier than that! I store them in plastic bags. They can be refrigerated or frozen and they store beautifully.
