You ever have one of those mornings when you want to eat something good for you… but don't want it to taste like lawn clippings? Yeah, me too. That's where this Green Power Smoothie comes in. It's the kind of green drink that actually tastes good - sweet, creamy, and not a hint of "oops, I blended kale again." 😂

It started as a "let's use up what's in the fridge" idea, and now it's a go-to when I want to feel good without chewing on a salad before 9 a.m.

Why you need this

This smoothie is packed with fresh flavor and a solid dose of nutrients - without being overly green or grassy. Spinach (or kale) blends right in without overpowering the flavor, while apple and banana keep it light and sweet! It's breakfast in a blender that fuels your morning and keeps you full.

Whether you're easing into green smoothies or just need a reset that doesn't feel like a chore, this one delivers big-time energy in a friendly little glass.

FAQ's

Does it taste like spinach?

Not at all! The fruit totally masks the greens - you'll taste apple and banana more than anything else.

Can I make it ahead?

Yep! Store in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Just shake before drinking.

Is this kid-friendly?

Absolutely - it's sweet, smooth, and totally sippable. Just call it "Hulk Juice". Who wouldn't love that?!!

Deb's top tips

If you're dipping your toes into the green-smoothie world, start with spinach since it's the most mellow of the leafy bunch. No yogurt on hand? Add an extra frozen banana. It steps right in and brings that thick, creamy texture like it was born for the job!

If you're already in smoothie mode, you might as well keep the blender humming. The Cherry Almond Butter Smoothie is a fun switch-up when you want something fruity with a little oomph, and the Apple Pie Smoothie is pure cozy-in-a-glass energy without turning on the oven.

A Pineapple Cranberry Smoothie adds a little sweet-tart zing that wakes everything right up. Pick your vibe and sip away.

Wrapping it up

If you've been avoiding green smoothies because you think they taste like punishment, this one will change your mind. It's fresh, fruity, and easy to love!

Blend it up, take a sip, and tell me: are you team spinach or team kale? I'm all ears (and maybe a little bit of banana). Enjoy my friend!!
