- 1 handful of fresh spinach or kale
- 1 small apple cored and chopped
- 1 banana fresh or frozen
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- ¾ cup milk dairy or non-dairy
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice optional, for brightness
- Ice cubes optional, for thickness
Add all ingredients to a blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy, about 30 seconds.
Taste and adjust — more lemon if you like it brighter, more milk if it’s too thick.
Pour into a tall glass and sip!
Optional add-ins:
- 1 tablespoon almond or peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed or chia seeds
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
