Green Veggie Power Smoothie

Creamy, freshly and suprisingly delicious this smoothie is a go-to grab for breakfast or a snack!

Equipment

  • 1 blender or smoothie maker

Ingredients

  • 1 handful of fresh spinach or kale
  • 1 small apple cored and chopped
  • 1 banana fresh or frozen
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • ¾ cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice optional, for brightness
  • Ice cubes optional, for thickness

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy, about 30 seconds.
  • Taste and adjust — more lemon if you like it brighter, more milk if it’s too thick.
  • Pour into a tall glass and sip!

Notes

Optional add-ins:

  • 1 tablespoon almond or peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed or chia seeds
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
