Ingredients

  • wax paper
  • 1 pound white chocolate chips or white chocolate melting wafers
  • 40 pretzels
  • 6-8 candy canes crushed

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with wax paper and set aside. Place the candy canes in a ziplock bag. Use a rolling pin to crush the candy canes and pour into a small bowl.
  • Next, place the white chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Melt the chocolate in the microwave: Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. It will only take about 1 ½ minutes.
  • Dip each pretzel into the melted white chocolate using a fork or tongs, ensuring it is fully coated. Allow excess chocolate to drip off. Place on wax paper.
  • While the white chocolate is still soft, sprinkle crushed candy canes over the pretzels. The warmth of the chocolate will help the candy cane pieces adhere.
  • Let the white chocolate-covered pretzels with crushed candy canes cool and harden. You can speed up the process by placing them in the refrigerator for about 20-30 minutes.
