Peanut Butter Cheerio Bars

Easy to make sticky, gooey, salty-sweet no bake bars! Addictive and delicious, they will be devoured in no time!

Equipment

  • 9x13-inch baking dish

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup (I used Karo Syrup)
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 cups Cheerios cereal
  • 1 cup salted peanuts

Instructions

  • Spray 9 x 13 baking dish with non stick cooking spray, set aside.
  • In large dutch oven, heat sugar and karo syrup just to boiling over medium heat. Stir to dissolve the sugar.
  • Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until smooth.
  • Stir in cheerios and peanuts until they are evenly coated.
  • Spoon the Cheerio peanut butter mixture into the baking pan. Press into the dish using the buttered back of a spoon.
  • Cool 1 hour. Cut into squares. Enjoy!

Notes

No need to refrigerate. Store loosely covered.
