Equipment

  • Slow Cooker

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 cup teriyaki stir fry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 pork tenderloins 1 pound each
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • optional garnish: sesame seeds, and 1 green onion

Instructions

  • Spray crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Add pork to the crockpot.
  • In a measuring cup or bowl, whisk together honey and teriyaki sauce. Pour over the tenderloins. Sprinkle with lemon pepper seasoning.
  • Cover and cook on low for 2-2 ⅕ hours or until a thermometer inserted in the pork reads 145 degrees.
  • Remove from crockpot and allow to rest, covered with foil.
  • Whisk the cornstarch and cold water together. Pour into the crockpot and whisk to combine. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes.
  • Slice the tenderloin and spoon the velvety sauce over the top. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and thinly sliced green onions.

Notes

I used the stir fry sauce (as opposed to a glaze or marinade) because it's a little thicker, less salty and makes for a more flavorful sauce.
