vanilla extract
8
ounce
tub Cool Whip

2
ripe bananas

For the topping:
¼
cup

½

1

Instructions
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy. Fold in the whipped topping until combined.
Slice 2 ripe bananas and arrange them in a single layer over the bottom of the pie crust.
Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the bananas and smooth the top. Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours (longer if you want cleaner slices).
When you're ready to serve, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon, and let it bubble for about 2 minutes.
Add sliced bananas, cook for 1–2 minutes, then stir in, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Let cool just a bit.
Spoon the warm bananas foster mixture over the chilled pie and serve immediately.
Notes
Optional - add a tablespoon of dark rum when you stir in the vanilla. It's optional, but a great addition!
