In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain grease if desired.
Add the chopped onion to the skillet with the beef and cook until the onion is translucent about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the frozen vegetables.
Now stir in the seasoning. Add the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in two cups of the cheese.
Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the top of the beef mixture.
Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Let the pie cool for a few minutes before serving.
