Creamy Alfredo sauce, tender chicken, broccoli, and bow tie pasta come together in this easy casserole that's made for busy weeknights. It's rich, cheesy comfort food without a complicated ingredient list.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
Cook the bow tie pasta according to package directions until just al dente. During the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pasta water. Save 1 cup of pasta water. Drain well and return to the pot.
Stir in the chicken, Alfredo sauce, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, 1½ cups shredded cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese. Add pasta water as needed - I used about ¼ cup. You want the casserole to be saucy, not dry!
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup shredded pepper jack cheese over the top. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until hot and bubbly.
