Equipment

  • 1 blender or smoothie maker

Ingredients

  • 1 banana fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • ¾ cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 3-4 ice cubes (optional, for thicker texture)

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down sides as needed.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness to your liking.
  • Pour into a chilled glass, take a deep breath, and sip your way into a good day.

Notes

I always layer the ice cubes in first, then the remaining ingredients. It seems to blend the ice best. Then pulse or blend to your desired consistency, for me that is between 15 and 20 seconds.
