1cupfrozen peppers and onions
8slicesTexas Toast Garlic Bread
1cupmozzarella cheeseshredded
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Place the garlic bread in the bottom of the casserole dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes. Remove, set aside.
Brown the ground beef over medium heat in a large skillet, drain the grease.
Add the frozen peppers and onions to the meat. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender. Then add the sloppy joe sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Spoon the saucy meat mixture over the baked garlic bread. Sprinkle with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
Place in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the casserole is hot and bubbly.
If desired, place the casserole under the broiler for 1-2 minutes or until the top of the casserole is golden brown. Enjoy!
Notes
**For the garlic bread, I used Texas Toast. You could also use leftover garlic bread and if that's the case, just bake it until it's crispy. **I used the Manwhich Thick and Chunky Brand
