Slice the baguette in half lengthwise. Lay the two halves of the bread loaf on a large piece of aluminum foil.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, garlic, Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese.
Spread the garlic butter in a thick layer over each cut side of the bread.
Put the two halves back together and wrap well with foil. Store it in the freezer for later use. This is also a great time to portion the bread into servings for smaller families. Just be sure to wrap it well.
Bake, thawed, 20 minutes at 375 °. If frozen, add 10 minutes to your baking time.
Optional - Before serving, remove the foil and open the bread, laying it flat on a baking sheet. Place under the broiler for one to two minutes for the top of the bread to get crispy.
