Hot Sloppy Joe Dip

This hearty dip is perfect for tailgating and game day fun. Everyone loves this easy recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup diced bell pepper
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • 2 teaspoons Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 cup catsup
  • ½ cup beef stock
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 sliced baguette

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef with the onions and belll pepper until no longer pink, drain well.
  • Add the beef stock, Montreal steak seasoning, brown sugar, catsup and yellow mustard. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally for 15-20 minutes until the stock is reduced and the dip is saucy.
  • Top with cheese. Place under broiler for 2-3 minutes until melted and browned.
  • Serve with baguettes, chips or your favorite dippers!
