Air Fryer Burger Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (recommend 80/20)
  • 2 teaspoons Montreal steak seasoning
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • Serving suggestions
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • assorted toppings: lettuce, sliced tomatoes, pickles, sliced onions, mayonnaise, mustard or ketchup!

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer for two minutes at 360 degrees.
  • Combine ground beef and steak seasoning In a medium mixing bowl. Mix together and form four patties. Using your thumb place an indent in the center of each patty.
  • Brush burger patties with bbq sauce. Place in single layer in pre heated air fryer.
  • Cook for six minutes on side one, flip and continue cooking for 5-6 minutes on the second side. Check the temperature with your instant read thermometer.
  • If desired place a slice of cheese on burger for the last minute of cooking.
  • Remove the hamburger from the air fryer basket and place onto bun. Add your favorite toppings, and enjoy!

Notes

Burger is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees. Depending on your air fryer, you may need to adjust the cooking time.
