Ingredients
1
ham
about 6 pounds ham.
1 ½
cups
packed light brown sugar
divided
2
tablespoons
Dijon mustard
¼
teaspoon
ground cloves
20
ounces
canned pineapple chunks in 100% pineapple juice
undrained
Instructions
Place ½ cup of brown sugar in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Unpack the ham, rinse and pat dry with a paper towel.
Place the ham face down on the brown sugar.
I used a bone-in ham, so I score the top of the ham. If you are using a spiral ham you don’t need to do this step.
Coat the top of the ham with Dijon mustard and sprinkle ground cloves.
Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar on top of the ham.
Add the pineapple chunks with the pineapple juice around the side of the pineapple.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 ½ hours or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F.
Notes
*NOTE* The ham I used for this recipe was 6 pounds. The weight of the ham will impact the cooking time.
Slice and Enjoy!
