Ingredients

  • 1 ham about 6 pounds ham.
  • 1 ½ cups packed light brown sugar divided
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 20 ounces canned pineapple chunks in 100% pineapple juice undrained

Instructions

  • Place ½ cup of brown sugar in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Unpack the ham, rinse and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Place the ham face down on the brown sugar.
  • I used a bone-in ham, so I score the top of the ham. If you are using a spiral ham you don’t need to do this step.
  • Coat the top of the ham with Dijon mustard and sprinkle ground cloves.
  • Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar on top of the ham.
  • Add the pineapple chunks with the pineapple juice around the side of the pineapple.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 ½ hours or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F.

Notes

*NOTE* The ham I used for this recipe was 6 pounds. The weight of the ham will impact the cooking time.
Slice and Enjoy!
