Sprinkle the pizza peel with cornmeal. Stretch the dough ball, or use a rolling pin to a 12" crust. Place the pizza crust on top of the peel.
Spread ½ cup of bbq sauce on the crust.
Take the remaining bbq sauce and add the diced chicken. Mix together well. Spread on top of the pizza.
Top with thinly sliced onions and pepperoncinis.
Tear the fresh mozzarella cheese and place on the pizza.
Place pizza into the pizza oven. Rotate every 20 seconds ensure the pizza bakes evenly.
Remove from the oven and slice, topping with torn cilantro.
Notes
Spice up your delicious pizza with a healthy pinch of ground chili powder over the sweet bbq sauce. Then add the remainder of the toppings. This is my go-to homemade pizza dough recipe.
