3-4skinless boneless chicken breastsYou can use white meat chicken or boneless skinless chicken thighs.
¼teaspoonsalt
½teaspoon black pepper
¼teaspoongarlic powder
2.87 ouncepackets of chicken gravy mix packets
110.5 ouncecan cream of chicken soup
14.5ouncecan of chicken broth
2teaspoonsdijon mustardoptional
Instructions
Prepare the crockpot by spraying with nonstick cooking spray.
Season the chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and place the chicken breast in the crockpot.
In a small bowl combine the cream of chicken soup, gravy seasoning mix, chicken broth and mustard (if using!) until completely smooth. Pour over the chicken.
Seal the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
When the chicken is tender and cooked, remove and shred with two forks. Return it to the chicken to the slow cooker. Mix everything together well.
Serve with the flavorful gravy over cooked rice, noodles or mashed potatoes, enjoy!

The easiest way to shred the chicken is with a handheld mix on low. Takes about two minutes for an easy mess-free method! Be sure to keep it on low though, if you turn the mixer any higher though be prepared for a spluttery mess!The dijon mustard adds a little depth of flavor to the gravy to make it extra delicious. I highly recommend it!If you prefer a thicker gravy, make a slurry using one tablespoon cornstarch and one tablespoon COLD water. Whisk until combined, pour into crockpot and mix well. Allow the mixture to cook for another 30 minutes before serving.
