I’ve known Sheri of Sheri Van Wert Photography for years, I met her when I lived in Sacramento thru my advertising business. I did some advertising for her, we’ve done some volunteer work together and most recently she photographed our wedding – Sheri is fabulous!
My job was simply to make soup while Sheri took pictures. She asked me many questions before the session so I knew just what to expect. Sheri wanted to photograph the meal from start to finish and started by taking pictures of the ingredients – what an amazing photo!
And she took a few of me….
Then it was time to get chopping and cooking. See my little buddy Max? He loves to hover in the kitchen, just in case any scraps go overboard. Max the moocher!
We did plenty of laughing and visiting while the stew simmered. Then it was time to check the seasonings.
When our photo shoot was complete, we ended up with some incredible photographs and an amazingly flavorful stew, filled with chicken, warm Mexican spices and delicious vegetables.
I hope you enjoyed a glimpse into the photo shoot! Special thanks to my good friend Sheri with Sheri Van Wert Photography. Sheri, I really appreciate all of your expertise! As for my website…. well it’s a work in progress! I’m in the process of reworking it to give it a more cohesive look and make it easier to navigate – you’ll see these pictures (and more!) used in many different ways over the coming months.
