Extra Large Bamboo Cutting Board – a great cutting board is a must! Bamboo is a great choice because it’s a super hard surface and doesn’t absorb a lot of liquid, which makes it more sanitary. On the flip side, that hard surface will dull your knives more quickly but it’s a durable surface and will last for years.
Dutch Oven – I’ve had my dutch oven for 15 years! It still looks as good as new. A dutch oven conducts heat evenly. For braising, roasting meat and cooking soups and stews, it’s always the BEST choice! They are heavy though, especially when they are full of food – a consideration when you’re making your purchase.
Stoneware Soup and Side Bowls – Every good soup deserves a great soup bowl! I have these bowls and I absolutely love them! Why? Because they are perfect for ladling in your meal, tucking a toasted cheese sandwich or crackers on the side and cozying up to watch your favorite TV show!
Copper Cookware – I’m very excited because I just received this cookware and here’s two words that will convince you to purchase this…dishwasher safe! I don’t have time to spend all day in the kitchen doing dishes and I’m pretty sure you don’t either, right?
Kitchen Utensils – I have a varied assortment of great utensils. Silicone is the best choice when cooking with coated cookware. This will keep the surfaces from being scratched and ruined. That’s the last thing we want happening after investing into a new set of cookware, right?!!
Instant Pot – I use my pressure cooker several times a week! I love my 6 in 1 (pictured below) because it cuts cooking time in half without compromising flavor or texture. If you haven’t grabbed my guide yet, this link gives you all my best tips and tricks. You’ll be using your new Instant Pot like a pro in no time!
Oversized Mug – Another one of my favorite bowls and favorite gifts for cooking is a great oversized mug. These mugs are wonderful when you want to cozy up with under a quilt and enjoy a great bowl of soup. I confess, I have these also! I’m kind of a hoarder of all things kitchen, wouldn’t you agree? 😋
Immersion Blender – Confession time… I did not realize my immersion blender blade came off for easy washing until about 6 months after I received it. So…I didn’t use it. Now I use it all the time because clean up is a breeze and it’s perfect when you need to easily cream a soup or whip some egg whites!
Soup Tureen – My Aunt and Uncle Gene and MaryLou gave me a beautiful soup tureen almost 30 years ago! I love it and have used it several times. It’s a beautiful dish to serve your favorite soups or stews in for your holiday meal!
Slow Cooker – Every kitchen needs a slow cooker. It’s a great way to get an easy meal on the table for busy families. The Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker (pictured below) is the one I have. I most recently featured it with this meal. In addition to making mealtime easier, it’s also programmable. Love that!
