Foodie FriDIY 111 – Canning Recipes and How to
Welcome back to Foodie FriDIY 111! Here in the States we are looking forward to a llloooonnnggg weekend. I know there are lots of people counting down to fun! So tell me, are you on holiday this weekend? If so, are you doing something special? I would love to hear your plans.
I’ve have a couple new recipes to share with you this week on my end. If you like salmon, you’re going to love my Easy Poached Salmon Recipe – light, flaky and delicious!
The second recipes I shared last week for for a super yummy Grilled Vegetable Sandwich – definitely a favorite in our house! If you give it a try, I’d love to hear what you think!
But enough about me…let’s get to the features! As usual, there were so many wonderful recipes & DIY projects to choose from. Honestly…where to start?
Pillar of Strength Doula offered up this gem of advice! I interpret this as saying be true to yourself. That is some of the best advice I’ve ever received. It’s definitely worth sharing!
One thing that caught my eye last week were all the canning recipes. Canning is near & dear to my heart and so that is what I’m sharing today for the features. With the bounty of the farmer’s market and gardens overflowing right now, you’ll find something here you’ll love!
What’s up Doc? How about learning how to make Canned Carrots? Food Fun Family is offering up some step-by-step directions here! If that is too advanced, how about starting from the beginning with Canning 101 – from Hello Creative Family! Ann’s Entitled Life has a great tutorial and recipe for How To Can Pinto Beans – you can find it here! And last…but not least is How to make Refrigerator Dill Pickles from Flour On My Face honestly, I am never without pickles, I love them with a meal and for a snack. I’ll definitely be making these!
Are you inspired to do some canning? I hope so! Now it’s time to link up your DIY and recipes for Foodie FriDIY 111! I can’t wait to see your new projects and yummy recipies and while you’re at it, take a moment after linking up to tweet, post and share your link. If you drop your link on my Facebook page, I’ll make sure to give you some extra love! (Please include the number from the link up so I can easily find you!)
WE’RE NOT REALLY A RULES-TYPE PARTY. BUT HERE’S WHAT WE DO ASK –
1. Link up your favorite recipes and projects from your own blog. Roundups are fine as long as they include links to the recipes or DIY projects. Please DO NOT link a post without a recipe, project, craft, or tutorial.
2. We’d be truly grateful if you shared our party to other food and DIY blog friends so others can join in the fun! Tweet us. Share us on Facebook (the party will go up on my Facebook page on Thursday evening, if you’d like to share from there). However you can help us spread the word, we appreciate!
3. It’s not a requirement of course, but if you can, try to visit another link or two and leave a thoughtful comment. Give someone a shout out on social media. Use the hashtag #FoodieFriDIY…we’re trying to grow a community for all of us, and it’s always nice to make new friends.
